What happens to our little extras?

Fiona Brennan

Have you ever wondered what we do with all our little extra bits each month? We usually over-order slightly on our Yarnistry markers, box gifts and stationery as we often get a couple of late requests for boxes (usually after we've shared the reveal video!).

Last year we started to bag these bits and pieces up to create mini-versions of our monthly boxes and sold them as Lucky Dip Bags at shows. They are generous little bags of treats and fly off the stalls every time.

So we thought we would unleash these in the shop too as we know not everyone can make it to say hello to us in person.

Over the past year we've had pins, patches, candles, bath bombs, notebooks and pencils and more. That's not even touching on the bespoke markers that Yarnistry makes for us each month. We packaged these up with some hand-dyed mini skeins and a pattern to make the lucky dip bags.

I'll be honest, I tend to do this well in advance of a show and have completely forgotten what is in the bags by the time we set up. I just know there's wool, a pattern and marker plus some other things.

So much like a monthly box, you can see what you might get in a Lucky Dip Bag in our reveal video here where you can hear my delight at seeing this lovely craft planner again:

You can come and buy one from us at one of our shows or you can get one in our shop here
