The signature natural black wool was a labour of love for Homefarm Wensleydales and we were honoured to include two of their natural skeins in our kits in March. These came with a choice of two patterns, a snood or mitts, along with Debbie Abrahams beads to add some personal flair plus a vintage take on an AC/DC badge.
Our crochet kits were a special collaboration with Oh For Hook's Sake who dyed the yarn and created the shawlette pattern to go with it. These kits also came with the beads and badge.
A full aran skein of Yorkshire Dale Yarns made up the heart mitts by Beth Michon. The mini DK skein created the embroidery heart across the palms. Yarnistry were commissioned to create a heart-shaped Care Bears stitch marker and Knitted With Love tagged were included. Disney themed heart confetti was scattered in the box.
Our crochet kits included a full cake of Eden Cottage Yarn and a mini skein of Yorkshire Dale Yarns. This time to make up a framed motif of either a sunshine or heart. Frames and printed quotes included along with the confetti, crocheted with love tags and stitch marker.
With Ziggy Stardust DK by The Wool Kitchen, a David Meowie mitten and a pattern to make mitts with option mitten tops and the signature black star this was a month of remembrance and homage to the Thin White Duke.
Our crochet kits came with the red, white and blue to create the Aladdin Sane lightening bolt across the front of these cosy mittens. They also came with the David Meowie mitten.
This was a monster yarn month: two whole skeins of Dye Ninja high twist merino, one of which was in her Terry Pratchett colourway. These made up Karie Westermann's Byatt shawl and the kit came with a Sonic Knits notebook and some yarn-themed pencils by Oh For Hooks' Sake.
November's knitting club came with a beautiful skein of Fyberspates Scrumptious chunky, two sets of Brittany needles and a wonderful bar of lanolin soap exclusive to Baa Ram Ewe.
November's crochet box came with THREE skeins of West Yorkshire Spinners Blueface Leicester Aran to make these adorable advent boxes.
September's knitting club came with an outstanding shade Titus 4ply by Baa Ram Ewe. The pattern was Beeautiful Armwarmers by Fleur Duivis. Personalised stitch markers by Yarnistry were complemented by the rave-green DPNs and a very seasonal moth deterrent was included with the lavendar bags.
September's crochet club was an amigurumi pattern by Ruth Crawford of New Adventures in Craft blog. To be created with Titus mini skeins in Viking and an option to create the face with a second mini skein or use the felt and embroidery included. Crochet kits also came with a personalised marker from Yarnistry.
August's box was more than what had come before with a whopping 365m of Fyberspates Viviacious yarn, a cowl pattern by Louise Zass-Bangham, Knit Pro needles and stitch markers, a ladybird brooch and card by Ginger Pickle.
We welcomed the Summer with some superb ice-cream motif socks designed by Karen Butler, knit up in Askham by Eden Cottage Yarns, using Knit Pro needles, markers, hooks and gauge, a Flamingo notions bag and some luxurious hand cream by Nature's Scents.
